| Our Visit With Logan & Our First Future Biker For Christ |
The long awaited trek to Virginia Beach was very special for Norma, Emily, Johnny, & myself. We enjoyed three days with Logan and his family. He had just completed his last chemo treatment and was recovering. He was running full speed and let me tell you I know why the Lord gives children to younger individuals. The three younger children never slowed down. The day we went to the Naval Base and the Aquarium their little feet just moved faster as the day went. Then they finished me off in the pool. I must say it was refreshing to see the kids play and enjoy each other.
The most memorable event for me was entering Logan's house and him running through with his new Future Bikers For Christ Vest blowing in the breeze. There was a part of my heart that just stopped and marveled at the blessings from our Lord and Savior. We are waiting until May to get the results from his full body scan so please lift the little man up in your daily prayers.
I would be remiss if I did not tell you that leaving was very difficult. Logan and his family has been on our hearts and minds every mile of the way home. There was very little conversation but Emily reminded us to plan for the next trip to see her little buddy Logan.
