| Why are our churches empty? |

Today in our busy society we are just to busy to take time out of our overcrowded schedule to commune with God. We drive our automobiles to work drinking coffee, eating a pop tart, and talking on our cell phone. While we are doing all of this we are planning to have the children picked up after school, planning supper and wondering if we shut the garage door.
The reality of our need for God occurs when there is a tragic event in our life. Some examples could be a lump in a breast, car accident, death of a family member and the list goes on and on. Why do we put off talking to our savior and creator? I forgot we are to busy. I once was told, "If you are to busy to pray, you are definitely to busy!"
How do you feel when you are around a person that only calls or visits when they need something? Now, how do you think God feels when we only call on and visit him when we need something? I will let you answer the question because that is definitely between you and God.
I would recommend you develop a relationship with your creator and savior and talk to him daily and most of all read his word. This practice will give you comfort when things are plummeting out of control. If you hide his word in your heart, you will not desire sinning against God. You must schedule time with your savior.
